Everything about T-systems totally explainedT-Systems is a worldwide operating ICT provider founded in October 2000. It belongs to Deutsche Telekom AG and its central office is located in Frankfurt, Germany. Within Deutsche Telekom AG it's responsible for its business customers. It operates in 24 countries (Germany, France, Spain, South Africa, India ...) and employs about 1.150 employees in India, 1.600 employees in France, 3.000 employees in Spain, 8.000 employees in Germany and 56,000 worldwide (2008) of which 15,000 are at its Systems Integration unit. During 2007, around 3,700 jobs were cut but the number of employees stayed roughly the same thanks to acquisitions T-Systems made.
Since december 2007 Reinhard Clemens is CEO from T-Systems, Reinhard Clemens was since 2003 president from EDS Germany.
T-Systems provides IT and telecommunication services for business clients such as WestLB bank, carmakers Daimler, Volkswagen and aircraft maker Airbus.
In alignment with its new strategic direction, Deutsche Telekom relaunched T-Systems as the brand for all the Group’s business customers in early 2005. Based on strategic considerations and thorough market surveys, T-Systems, as a large start-up, chose a clear and consistent message leveraging high tech sailing imagery for its entry into the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) business customer market.
